MANSIO acts as a Romanian legal person, based on the principle of full autonomy, independence and economic decision-making.


It is an association of private, nonprofit organizations, non-political, non-governmental organization whose activities will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of Government Ordinance no. 26/2000, legal and other regulations of this Statute.

Mansio’s goal is to develop activities,  to promote tourism, cultural tourism, ecotourism, culture and cultural activities, as well as European citizenship and democracy at local, national, European and international level.

Our main objectives are :

  • Promoting culture and  traditions of Romania
  • Actions to promote sustainable tourism and protect the environment and nature
  • Educate young people through art and culture, courses, seminars, and other specialized events
  • Improving quality of life in Europe by promoting further cooperation between organizations of different Member States
  • Involvement in local community projects, partnerships with public authorities and NGOs in the country and abroad, to support achievement of educational projects aimed at developing a sense of youth action
  • Encourage cultural cooperation activities
  • The development of environmental activities
  • Promoting information and increase public awareness of the opportunities in Romania's new European context
  • Promoting interpersonal communication, education and carrying out activities to inform civil society and charitable volunteer
  • Organizing meetings, training courses, scientific seminars, symposiums, festivals, public debates, organizing marches, public demonstrations and other activities for public awareness, according to law
